Strong teaching begins with more than strong dancing. Lux Teacher Training combines technical excellence with cultural understanding, musicality, and leadership development.

The six-week program prepares experienced dancers to communicate clearly, teach responsibly, and support the next generation of dancers.

How it Works

A clear path from dancer to instructor.

Participants move through four stages designed to build knowledge, evaluate readiness, and prepare them to teach.

Apply
Apply when a new teacher training session is announced.
02.
Train
Complete a structured, six-week course covering both lead and follow roles, as well as On1 and On2 timing.
03.
Certify
Complete a practical teaching exam and a physical assessment to earn Lux Teacher certification.
04.
Teach
Certified graduates have the opportunity to begin teaching Lux beginner classes.
