Youth Outreach

Bringing no-cost Latin dance, music, and cultural education directly into Austin-area schools.
Youth Outreach Pilot

Bringing dance into schools.

Lux's Youth Outreach Pilot will bring beginner Latin dance and cultural education to students grades 9-12 at up to three Austin-area high schools or after-school programs.

Through five one-hour sessions, students will learn a shared, non-partnered salsa shines routine while building rhythm, musicality, confidence, and stage presence.
